ABOUT MICHAEL TSAPRAILIS

Michael Tsaprailis is a partner in KPMG’s Management Consulting practice in Montreal. He advises organizations on Strategy Execution, Digital, Growth and Agile business models. Michael\'s diverse experience spans decades, helping organizations and international clients in Strategy Decomposition and Execution, Digital Transformation, Operating Model Design, Shared Services, Outsourcing, Finance Operations, Enterprise Performance Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions, as well as Front and Back-Office Operations. Michael’s expertise encompasses several key industry sectors including Industrial Products, Transportation, Automotive, Natural Resources, Retail, Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage, Communications & High Tech, and Life Sciences. Michael has successfully led and played significant advisory and execution roles for a broad range of clients with both national and multinational presence. Michael has had the pleasure to work with senior clients in delivering strategy and high-performance efficiencies on several fronts, including transformation to digital, end-to-end solutions for emerging operational and financial matters that produce enhanced operating models, cost optimization, effective, merger value creation & realization, and the execution of strategy and creation of overall enterprise value. Michael’s experience is multi-faceted, including leading KPMG’s Management Consulting Practice in Energy & Natural Resources in Canada and KPMG’s Management Consulting practice in Québec for Industrial, Manufacturing, Resources and Health, as well as tenures with Arthur Andersen & Co, a Montreal-based, start-up Special Effects Software Developer, a Global ERP Software Developer and Accenture. A graduate from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business in Montreal, Michael holds both a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Graduate Diploma in Accountancy. Additionally, he holds the professional designation of ‘CPA - CA’. Michael is an avid participant in Children’s Charities in Montreal, Recruiting and Networking events at Educational Institutions, a supporter of Diversity Organizations and he is a Board member of the YWCA Montreal Foundation and the SPCA. Michael lives in Montreal and enjoys traveling, art, wine, soccer and spending time with his family and friends.
