Lead the Experience Design Team responsible for the member site and iOS/Android apps for Aetna, one of the nation\'s leading health care benefits companies, serving 39 million members as part of Fortune-5 company CVS Health.• Implement and refine best practices, lead design reviews, and coach experience designers across 15+ scrum teams residing in 10+ states, with a focus on Lean UX rapid iteration and the incorporation of user journey maps, voice of the customer, UX research, accessibility/inclusive design, and analytics into the design process.• In first year of leadership, the team met or exceeded all organizational year-over-year targets for mobile and web experiences, including achieving industry-leading digital self-service by members. Other team goals exceeded include member satisfaction (via transactional NPS), and digital adoption and registration success.• Driving complete revamp of Aetna Health’s design system. Championed the need for investment and resources and established and expanded partnerships across the enterprise to support the work. Built a cross-functional Design System Team, and crafted the agile processes and flows necessary for the team’s success. In the first six months of operation, the team’s design and production of components, patterns, guidance, and documentation exceeded multiple previous years’ output, and led to measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and accessibility.
