I serve as a volunteer member of the Board of Directors for Marion County Fire District No. 1, helping guide one of Oregon’s most active and community-focused fire districts.In this leadership role, I provide-Strategic oversight to support district operations, emergency response readiness, and long-term planning-Fiscal stewardship through budget review, financial accountability, and responsible resource allocation-Policy guidance and governance support, ensuring the district operates with transparency, efficiency, and compliance-Committee participation, contributing to evaluations, planning, and continuous improvement across district initiatives.I work closely with fellow board members, district chiefs, staff, and the community to enhance public safety and support the residents served by Marion County Fire District No.
