A seasoned senior financial consultant with over 25 years of financial management experience as the CFO of emerging technology and life science companies and membership of the board of directors. Experience in the software, telecommunications, semiconductor, clean energy technology, life sciences and consumer products industries. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day financial operations, venture financing,(more than $120M raised), mergers and acquisitions, and participation in two IPOs. Education includes BSEE and MBA degrees, both from UCLA. My consulting practice is focused on providing hands-on services to emerging, private companies that: 1) Need a part-time CFO with the knowledge and experience of a seasoned professional, or 2) Need a fully qualified person to assume the full-time responsibilities of the CFO position on an interim basis, or 3) Need an experienced CFO to complete a particular project or activity. Specialties include: 1) Financial and Business Plan preparation, 2) Budgeting and forecasting for both internal evaluation of performance and for presentation to prospective investors, 3) Acting as a \"sounding board\" for the business leader. 4) Organizing, set-up and operations of a small and effective accounting organization, 5) Providing a financial perspective for business strategy and plans.
