   My team is a key contributor in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve corporate strategic objectives by managing, negotiating and advising on all matters related to 3rd party commercially licensed intellectual property (IP) for Oracle. These initiatives and projects include 3rd party IP embedded within or add-on sku’s to Oracle products and services. As trusted advisors that work closely with leadership across various Oracle functions, we evaluate potential licensing opportunities, advise on deal structure, work with Development/Engineering to think through business strategy, product roadmaps and negotiate agreements with third parties. Our knowledge of internal process and ability to bring together the various lines of business (Development/Engineering, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Global Business Practices (GBP), GIS, Support, and Corporate Development) reduces deal complexity, deal through put time and cost to Oracle. My areas of focus include: • Negotiating and managing inbound licensing relationships • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, support, operations, sales, finance, legal and other key functions) to structure business initiatives, develop work plans, lead analysis, and develop/communicate final recommendations • Developing and leading negotiation strategy, options and scenarios with partners • Collaborating with Development and Engineering teams to manage ongoing relations with partners and work as the key escalation point on material issues
