At McAfee, I supported the AI research team behind Mockingbird, a deepfake detection tool built to identify manipulated media used in election interference and online scams. I collected and curated both real and synthetic deepfake samples from social media and AI tools such as ChatGPT and ElevenLabs to help test and refine the model. Using Python and Jupyter Notebook, I created JSON-based datasets and labeling scripts to organize test samples and improve data quality. I also built Excel dashboards shared through Confluence to track model performance and help the team analyze detection accuracy and false positives.
