About Michael Rodarte

I am a Portfolio Manager at Sycamore Capital, where I serve on the team responsible for Small and Mid Cap Value strategies managing over $30B in assets. My focus is fundamental research and portfolio construction, finding durable businesses and owning them with a long-term mindset. Nearly two decades in, what I enjoy most is the research itself, engaging with management teams and industry specialists, and the client and partner relationships I’ve built along the my professional work, I have remained deeply committed to youth mentorship and educational opportunity. I am the Co-Founder and Board Chair of Level Up Cincinnati, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting first-generation and underserved students through mentorship, scholarships, and long-term guidance. Over the years, I have also served extensively with Big Brothers Big Sisters and other community initiatives focused on expanding opportunity and combating inequality. Based in Phoenix, I remain actively engaged in both the Arizona and Cincinnati communities. I spend time in Cincinnati regularly with my investment team and nonprofit commitments, while intentionally building long-term civic relationships in Arizona through organizations such as Social Venture Partners Arizona.
