I lead Project Services at Samuel Knight, supporting wind operators, OEMs and service providers with experienced technicians during periods where additional field capacity is required.With over 15 years in the renewable energy sector — beginning my career on the tools as a technician — I understand the operational challenges faced by site teams when maintenance backlog builds, component programmes accelerate, or troubleshooting demands exceed available resource.Our focus is simple: helping operational teams keep turbines running by providing experienced mechanical and electrical technicians who can integrate quickly into existing site teams.We typically support operators during:• Maintenance campaigns• Maintenance backlog reduction• Troubleshooting programmes• Major component exchanges• Short-notice operational supportOur technicians have experience across major OEM platforms including GE, Vestas and Siemens Gamesa and can mobilise quickly to support both short-term campaign activity and longer-term operational programmes.Having started my career in the field, I remain passionate about supporting operational teams and delivering practical solutions that improve turbine availability and project delivery.Always happy to connect with others working across wind operations, project delivery and renewable asset performance.
