I work with the homeless, landlords, property managers, and case managers to identify and provide affordable housing and financial support for the homeless and underserved in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Heartland Family Services is the largest nonprofit homeless service agency in the region. The Company is a key partner in the Continuum of Care (CoC) in this multi-county area. It is a massive effort to end homelessness with a \"Housing First\" approach. It is an honor to be here and doing good for the community and underserved residents.

ABOUT MICHAEL ADAMS
Over the past three years, I\'ve devoted my professional development to become very knowledgeable in diverse aspects of affordable housing services for the homeless and underserved. This has given me the ability to make an immediate impact in non-profit operations focused on providing affordable housing and trama-informed support to vulnerable populations. Before transitioning to the housing services field, I spent over a decade handling a variety of marketing, business development, training, partner recruiting and engagement, counseling and case management, progam management, and nonprofit leadership roles. I also have been highly successful at building strong networks of private and public partnerships at diverse levels, through mutually-shared values and goals. My academic credentials, business and helping skills, and an understanding of the complexities of affordable housing have made me a highly motivated champion for the needs of the vulnerable and underserved.
