I am a freelance geotechical consultant with 25 years experience in contracting and consulting, the latter with a strong emphasis on design and build of heavy civil engineering and ground engineering projects. I have experience in deep and shallow foundations, treated ground, reinforced earth structures, pipe-jacked, slurry TBM and trenchless tunnelling, groundwater control and geotechnical monitoring. As Jord Geodesign I provide geotechnical reporting, design services, advice and support to civil, structural and environmental engineering consultants, specialist contractors and developers on a freelance basis.
