As a Principal Consultant, my role is to encourage and promote Agile methodologies across functions, setting high standards and ensuring their consistent implementation- operate as a PO & BA on large, complex projects or simultaneously contribute to multiple projects - lead workshops, interviews, focus groups, and other techniques to understand business problems and user needs within complex projects effectively - working with user researchers, service designers, and technical architects, I develop comprehensive problem space maps - translate business problems and user needs into detailed requirements aligned with best practice methodologies, utilising epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria - managing senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and effective communication between business and technical - analyse complex information and produce solutions that address the challenges at hand - effective communication with senior technical and business stakeholders is a priority, ensuring understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria - understand the business processes impacted by the project and how they align with the wider departmental strategy - provide advice on selecting appropriate techniques to model business processes based on service scenarios - work to manage and visualise outcomes, prioritising work, and working towards agreed minimum viable products (MVPs)- determine the suitable mix of epics, features, and stories for each sprint, contributing to prioritisation activities - contribute to the wider Business Analysis Community of Practice, sharing knowledge and best practices In summary, my role encompasses driving Agile methodologies, delivering effective solutions, managing stakeholder relationships and contributing to the growth of various Communities of Practice. I operate as a BA & PO on complex projects, leading requirements gathering activities and translating them into detailed requirements.
