ABOUT MICHAEL PECHA
I am deeply committed to service, education, and healthcare, with the goal of becoming a compassionate, patient-centered physician. I graduated from the University of Dallas with a degree in Biochemistry and a Theology concentration, blending scientific knowledge with a commitment to human dignity and ethical care. I am currently serving as a first-grade co-teacher in Mission, Texas as both a Seton Teaching Fellow and Notre Dame Mission Volunteer - AmeriCorps. In this role, I’m deeply engaged in supporting underserved students’ academic and emotional growth. As I prepare for medical school, I aim to be a physician who understands the importance of patient-centered care, empathy, and ethical practice. I believe healthcare is about addressing the root causes of illness and ensuring equitable access to care, all while respecting the patient\'s human dignity.
