I\'m a cyber security professional with over 25 years experience in the sector. My background is varied - from *NIX systems security engineering to security architecture, governance, risk management, and compliance, delivered in a combination of consulting (BAE Systems, PWC, IRM plc) and in-house roles (British Gas, Sagepay, NHS).I currently lead the teams delivering the NHS England SOC service and a wider range of cyber security services to the health system in England, enabling cyber resilience across the sector. I have recently transitioned from the Department of Health and Social Care, where I headed up the cyber security function for UKHSA and NHS Test & Trace, contributing to the national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. I am passionate about solving complex security challenges and protecting the NHS and its patients from cyber threats.
