About Michael Nock
My name is Michael Nock, and I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio. I attended St. Ignatius High School and I currently attend the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, majoring in applied accounting and finance with a minor in economics. This fall, I had the incredible opportunity to spend a semester studying in London, and I am on track to graduate in May 2026. During my time at Fordham, I have been named to the Gabelli School of Business dean\'s list each year while also working for the varsity women\'s tennis team for the last two years. As I return from my semester abroad, I will be continuing as the President of the club tennis team as well. Originally a Finance major, my introductory financial and managerial accounting classes sparked my interest in accounting, leading me to alter my major to include both subjects. Some of the relevant coursework I have taken include Intermediate Financial Accounting, Principles of Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, Corporate Financial Policy, and Investments and Securities Analysis.
