My background in accounting solutions, investment structures, financing strategies, and employee benefit optimization has equipped me with the expertise to guide employers in building programs that support both their business objectives and the well-being of their workforce. This combination of financial and employee-benefit insight allows me to deliver comprehensive, strategic solutions that help organizations meet their operational, cultural, and human-capital goals.Before co-founding The TE Group, I spent many years in the accounting profession, gaining a deep understanding of the financial disciplines that underpin strong benefit plan management. As a staff accountant, I learned the importance of accurate bookkeeping, compliance, and cash-flow planning—skills that directly relate to sustaining cost-effective benefit programs. At McGladrey, I worked within the public accounting sector, where I further developed my understanding of audit standards and financial reporting, including the processes essential for compliant employee benefit plan audits. My experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (pwc.com) expanded my capabilities even further, as I served as a business analyst and licensed alternative investment accountant/advisor. I worked across all areas of accounting, finance, and advisory services, gaining insight into how investment strategy and benefit design intersect to impact both employers and their employees.I hold both undergraduate and graduate degrees from St. John’s University with concentrations in accounting and finance, supplemented by multiple business consulting certifications from Harvard Business School. Outside of supporting clients in optimizing and expanding their businesses and benefit programs, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Amy, and our two daughters, Adelyn and Eloise.
