ABOUT MICHAEL R.
Michael M. Y. R. Riad (Graduate Student Member, was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1994. He received the B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He also received a MASc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2024. He is currently working at Ansys as an R&D Verification Engineer II for HFSS. He has been a permanent Teaching Staff Member at Ain Shams University, since 2018 (currently on sabbatical leave). From 2019 to 2023, he was working as a Course Developer and a Trainer with Siemens DISW. His research interests include Bio-medical sensors, RF/Microwave sensing, FMCW Radar Sensing, Digital Twins, FTIR spectroscopy, and Machine learning.
