ABOUT MICHAEL MILARDO
In the mid 90’s, I grew out my ponytail and goatee and got a job at a video store. In many ways, it was the impetus of my advertising career. Soaking in story culture, working as a trusted advisor to my clients, and helping steer them to the right creative product based on their personal needs. It was also, arguably, the height of my personal style. Fast forward to today. I’ve been doing this for twenty years, and my philosophy is simple: time is precious, and if we\'re going to ask for it, we better offer something in return. People want value. They want entertainment. They want to be moved. Film, television and video games have always known this, and this is what advertising now competes with. The work needs to be as good or better if we expect people to pay attention. Because at the end of the day, the work that remembers its audience is the work that people remember.Currently Creative Director / Executive Producer at Kiddo - a hybrid creative / production studio based in Vancouver.
