ABOUT MICHAEL MCGINN

Very experienced interim Programme Director and Programme Manager, specialising in directing and managing large-scale strategic IT and business transformation programmes.A practical, methods-oriented (PRINCE2 Practitioner) programme director and manager with wide and successful experience in the management of complex business and IT change programmes in a broad range of industries, including Utilities, Central and Local Government, Telecommunications and Financial Services. Specialises in the development and delivery of strategic programmes, methods and standards maturity improvement, and third party/offshore supplier contract negotiation and delivery management.I have been steeped in ERP (and associated systems and business processes) since before the term was coined, having been involved in development and integration of MRP, Finance, HR, Customer Care and Billing etc.(remember when we called it that?) for the last 20 years plus. Latterly, SAP has been to the fore in my programmes, and my development and integration background helps me to deliver SAP into real-world environments where legacy systems and infrastructure must co-exist alongside SAP. And I have taken distributed business models and reshaped them into shared-service models (and vice versa) whilst delivering the technolgy to support them.
