As the Chief Strategy Officer at Carnegie Foundry, I bring a broad range of experiences, prior learnings and past successes in business development, product innovation and disruptive industry transformation to create and execute the vision of a unique AI and robotics venture studio that commercializes cutting-edge technologies with a strong financial and social value proposition. With over 20 years of executive leadership addressing disruption and emerging technologies in the Private, Social and Public sector industries, I have a strong track record of designing, launching, and operating new and successful product lines, marketing strategies, operational plans, and partnerships that deliver value to customers, members, investors, donors and stakeholders.I am passionate about applying AI and robotics to solve real-world problems and create positive social impact. I am also a co-founder and board member of three spinoffs from Carnegie Foundry: Freespace Robotics, a next-generation automated storage and retrieval system that optimizes warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations, VoxEQ, an AI-driven voice analysis toolkit that powers anti-fraud and commerce enablement efforts and our most recent launch, Thryve Labs, which provides predictive, privacy-preserving and personalized AI to guide best in class in-home and in-facility health, wellness and safety.Prior to co-founding Carnegie Foundry at its launch in 2020, I was the Vice President of Business Development at NPR, where I led the transformation, new launches and revenue growth of the public media organizations\' digital, IP and podcast businesses. I also have a strong and \'industry-diverse\' background in strategy and management consulting, having worked at McKinsey & Company. From an earlier career as a photojournalist at The Washington Post and The Baltimore Sun I have four Pulitzer Prize nominations. I hold an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
