About Michael Lukenda

Having been immersed in multiple sides of the distribution industry, it has provided me with the opportunity and experience level needed to apply my talents to many different job functions in the future. My career interests and aspirations are not singular, and I have enjoyed success in all of my roles so far in my career. I have a passion for educating myself, and learning new things, and am excited to continue my career path somewhere new. I\'ve spent the entirety of my professional career in Chemical Distribution, and through my various roles over the years, have garnered invaluable experience in multiple industries. I started my career on the procurement side of the business and gained firsthand knowledge into purchasing, strategic sourcing (both domestic and international), and logistics/transportation. I then moved to the commercial side of the business as an industry manager responsible for sales and GP growth for a specific product line, and then as an Account Executive (general seller) responsible for managing and growing business in a diverse territories selling the full product line across all industries. Most recently I combined my procurement and commercial experience in my role as Regional Product Manager.
