Currently, I am the Metals Group Leader for the Durham, NC location of Enthalpy Analytical. My job entails managing a group of four employees (technicians and chemists) so that everyone\'s goal is to meet deadline expectations of our clients. I provide expertise in all trace metals analysis related methodology and instrumentation. Occasionally method development and validation is needed of which I have a strong background being from multiple industrial sectors. Keeping the customer informed and providing quality data in a timely manner is our focus. Finally, I serve as a mentor in teaching younger employees how to become better chemists and instrument specialists.I also serve as the site\'s Safety Officer, in charge of all aspects related to safety on site. I head a committee of five members who help in finding potential safety shortcomings on site.
