My primary role at the JLP is to continue the development of the JLP web site in order to support the operation and evolution of the program, including providing user support and training. My responsibilities include editing and formatting program documents to ensure clarity and consistency. Additionally, I prepare extensive reports and provide analysis of program statistics and of workshop participant surveys.• Edited and provided proofreading of news updates and web pages, newsletters and program documents; suggested improvements and made corrections• After consulting the users of the program website, I developed new features and made adjustments to the site to ensure the ease of use• Increased the efficiency of staff members by simplifying the web application to suit their needs• Provided graphic design by producing graphics from scratch as well as improving on existing designs• Provided page layout design in print and for the web• Updated user surveys and collected results using legacy survey software to enable reporting and evaluation of the program with over a decade worth of statistics• Research and evaluated new technologies and provided support including piloting the first series of JLP webcasts and the migration to Outlook 2016 for JLP staff• Directly responded to inquiries from the users of the website; general public, JLP workshop facilitators and regional field coordinators• Worked with the Communication officer to ensure that the information and visual content on the website is up-to-date, relevant and easy accessible• Created fillable forms in Excel and PDF to make calculations automatically and to reduce data entry time by the Finance officer
