About Michael Hansen

I have found two passions in my professional career and am blessed to be able to do them both at the same time. First, is talent acquisition/recruiting. I love being that expert in the room, where I can build significant relationships, with stakeholders to handle their needs from start to finish. Second, is prep/youth basketball where I am a scout and content contributor for the largest independent organization in the country. Talent Acquistion/recruiting is about building relationships and connecting with a whole host of different personalities. Establishing those connections, first with hiring managers and then with the talent, all in an effort to get them engaged in the process. Being a professional in this arena is knowing the markets that you are working in, the latest trends, and then using the latest exciting technology to those goals. With basketball scouting I find that it is very similar in that I am still connecting with folks and telling wonderful stories.\"Get more kids noticed \' is my main goal and it is an awesome feeling when a kid and college or a kid and goal can connect. I excel when I am in front of someone, an organization, and able to tell their story to make that next connection.
