The Capital Design & Construction (CDC) section is comprised of project managers and coordinators managing Capital Projects and Lifecycle Maintenance Projects. The Capital Project and Lifecycle Maintenance Project management team consist of a number of professional engineers, architects, project managers and coordinators who oversee the City\'s capital and lifecycle maintenance projects. This dedicated group of professionals provide project management services and oversee the implementation and administration of capital development projects across the organization including building lifecycle projects, new buildings and renovations, site development and pathway lighting projects to address the City\'s most critical needs. CDC project managers are also responsible for delivering and managing projects related to grant funding and other Corporate-wide capital construction projects funded from other service area\'s capital budgets including Parks, Culture, Transit, Works, Recreation and Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services. CDC is committed to- providing responsible project management and financial accountability for all capital projects- providing consultative technical expertise to other sections- providing inclusive environments for everyone- great customer serviceCDC staff are active members on numerous committees and provide their expertise on CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design), the Accessibility Advisory Committee, Facilities Accessibility and Design Standards (FADS), Energy Management Team (EMT) and Project Management Advisory Committee (PMAC).
