About Michael Kreienkamp
I completed a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from Santa Clara University in June 2025, graduating with a 3.8 GPA. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Cum Laude, also from Santa Clara University in Spring 2024. During my undergraduate studies, I realized I wanted to concentrate on biomedical devices, which led me to pursue my advanced degree in bioengineering. While an undergraduate at Santa Clara, I competed on the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Water Polo team and successfully balanced my sport and academics.I am passionate about innovation and creating modern devices to benefit society’s needs. During my time at Santa Clara, I worked in the Healthcare Innovation and Design Lab creating and doing research on a headworn device which uses transcranial photobiomodulation to reduce the effects of Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and other neurodegenerative diseases.I am now working at Cambridge Medical Technologies and building biosensors that can accurately perform bloodless blood tests.
