   Cisco

   Sep 2022 — Present

   Overview• Leading a team responsible for Cisco’s corporate greenhouse gas emissions accounting and the strategy for our products Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) estimates.• Contributing to the development of Cisco’s comprehensive sustainability data foundation, creating a single source of truth for sustainability data to support calculations, voluntary claims, and regulatory disclosures (CSRD, ISSB, SEC, CDP, DJSI).Key Achievements• Appointed as a member of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol’s Scope 3 Technical Working Group to revise and update the GHG Protocol’s Scope 3 Standard.• Developed a methodology to simplify our product LCAs and automated our PCF estimates across our hardware portfolio to streamline customer requests and provide insights to our design teams.• Delivered a presentation on Circular Design principles at Cisco Live, Cisco\'s annual conference, highlighting how these principles reduce the environmental impact of our products and assist customers in meeting their environmental commitments.• Active member of the steering committee for the Product Attribute to Impact Algorithm (PAIA) tool and member of WBCSD Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) and the European Green Digital Coalitions Avoided Emissions working groups.• Designed an avoided emissions model for hybrid work, based on the WBCSD framework, to better understand the impacts of hybrid work and ensure it remains a positive environmental solution.
