As the Renewable Energy Market Lead for FM Global, I specialize in overseeing the development and execution of renewable energy solutions, particularly focusing on onshore wind, onshore solar, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). My expertise encompasses various renewable technologies that FM insures, ensuring optimal protection and performance through effective risk management strategies. I actively work with our research and engineering teams to develop innovative approaches to risk assessment and mitigation, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to improve service delivery and client outcomes.Before joining FM Global, I directed service and placement for Brown & Brown Risk Solutions\' Energy & ClimateTech practice and led WTW’s US Power Generation team before that. In addition to my renewable energy expertise, I have a strong background in traditional thermal power generation risks, as well as Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Downstream Energy risks. In various roles, I collaborated with clients to understand their unique needs and developed tailored risk management solutions, working with key risk management/insurance partners. I also led initiatives to advance renewable energy strategies, enhance market engagement, and drive business growth.I’ve previously been involved with loss control engineering services, including loss modeling, hazard analyses, business continuity studies, developing and implementing process safety management (PSM) programs, and performing loss prevention surveys to assess the risk protection standing of industrial sites.Qualifications include:Risk & Insurance Magazine Power Broker in 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2023.Licensed Professional EngineerLicensed Insurance BrokerI am an avid tennis player and live with my wife, Kelly, in central New Jersey.
