Overview: I’ve 20 years experience in software design and development including graphic design, UI/UX design, researching, testing, product management and business management consultancy, to help businesses design and build accessible digital user interfaces and content. I’m happy working autonomously or as part of a multi-disciplinary team and at the heart of my motivation is a curiosity for continuous improvement. Product Design: My portfolio demonstrates my ability to understand user needs and product requirements and then creatively overcome unique and often complex user problems, by transforming big ideas into simple, engaging and accessible user-centric interfaces. Key design skills include storyboarding, wireframing, designing, prototyping, annotating designs, and managing design systems. I’m an experienced front-end developer with a good understanding of HTML, CSS, React and Swift. Accessibility Design Consultancy: I’m able to evaluate and quickly adapt to new situations and new information, communicate and collaborate well with stakeholders, present ideas and suggestions for improvement to existing product development processes and give solid reasoning. My experience includes strategising, coaching, mentoring, researching, producing flows, storyboards and accessibility playbooks for programme delivery. I’m colourblind and neurodivergent, so have a vested interest in helping to make the world more inclusive.
