ABOUT MICHAEL JOHN MEYERS
Michael John Meyers is the founder of Open Arms Worldwide, a speaker, author, and pastor, and serves as the President of Open Arms Worldwide and Family Pastor at CenterPointe Christian Church in Venice, FL. Michael is deeply committed to his family and dedicated to guiding young people towards a fulfilling life of faith and service. His journey led him from the business world, where he was a Divisional Operations Manager for a Fortune 500 company, to a role as Director of Children’s Ministries at Reston Bible Church in Reston, Virginia. In 2005, Michael and his wife Patricia established Open Arms Brazil, and in 2006, they relocated to Brazil to create Comunidade Braços Abertos Brasil. Then in 2011, Michael became the founding President of Open Arms Worldwide (OAW), with a mission to mobilize, prepare, and support Christian leaders and volunteers in implementing transformative, gospel-centered outreach programs for children and youth in impoverished communities. Combining his business acumen with his experience in education and ministry, Michael brings an entrepreneurial perspective to missions and the church, emphasizing the critical need for Christians to support the next generation. Since 2005, Michael has spoken to diverse audiences across Brazil and the United States about the church’s role in nurturing a generation with a deep knowledge of the Lord and a Biblical worldview. He and his wife, Patricia, now reside in Venice, Florida.
