From February 2011 to July 2011 I taught courses on global media and culture, Western civilization, the United Nations, and newspaper reading in English, I also gave lectures and reviewed MA theses at Shanghai International Studies University, have been and continuing, Chair of the University\'s Intercultural Institute\'s International Advisory Board and Senior Coeditor of its intercultural research series. I am a member of the Board of the Journal of Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies (in Asia) at SISU.
