People Ops, because \"There\'s gotta be a better way to do this.\" I run across a lot of assumptions about my field, but the perceived gap between a company\'s HR function and its strategic business initiatives is one that\'s particularly unfortunate- both for organizational success and general employee wellbeing. What drove me to this career was and remains the opportunity to leverage true employee partnership in the pursuit of collective success.To this end, I believe it\'s important to build a sense of community at work.
