The financial world is a large and complex place. Correlation, standard deviation, derivatives. All sounds confusing, doesn’t it? There was a time in my early career when I found it confusing too, as does everyone without experience. Whatever dumb question you have about the investment universe, believe me, I’ve have asked it myself. I have dedicated the last decade of my career to obsessively becoming an expert in all things financial. Now comes the fun part; I get to share my investment knowledge with people that come to me for advice. I take great pleasure in taking the confusing web of the financial world and making it all seem simple. My #1 rule when managing the life savings of my clients is that everyone should have an understanding and take comfort in what they are invested in. Trust me when I say, it can all make sense and it will make sense. Behind the scenes, I enjoy the science behind building a portfolio of investments. There are good buying opportunities in the market every day but fitting them all together and having them complement each other is the tough part. Then there’s another layer. How do they all fit together given your personal circumstances? That is where I come in.
