For 15+ years ⏳, I\'ve been on the rollercoaster ride of recruitment, and I hate rollercoasters, but fortunately, I love recruitment 🥰— I also love an emoji, so strap in I’ve had the privilege of working with wonderfully diverse clients, from FTSE giants to tech and pharma start-ups, and those incredibly inspiring not-for-profits 🫱🫲— it\'s been an eclectic mix!My core talent? Insane curiosity! I ask questions. Lots of them. I’m uncomplicated and straightforward, and alarmingly open and honest, sometimes to my detriment 🤷. But I’m authentic and consistent, if nothing else I have an unwavering obsession 🤪 with ‘quality’ and ‘improvement’, forever striving to be my best self 🫶. My perfectionist tendencies can be demanding, but I hope that they raise the standards for myself and those around me While I’m an absolutely awful artist in the traditional sense , there’s definitely an art to recruitment. Anyone can match keywords from a job description to a CV 🤖. But the ability to listen, observe, and apply emotional intelligence, intuition, and good judgment of character 🧠? That’s where I’ve honed my craft. Now, with even more grey hairs 🧓 (I blame my two kids, Effie and Billy 🧒), I enjoy filling my working days speaking with driven and ambitious executive leaders across multiple disciplines. This experience has fueled my mission to shake up the old-school executive search world!
