About Michael Erskine
Michael A. Erskine is the Director of the Center for Cybersecurity Management and an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics faculty at Middle Tennessee State University. Earlier, he served as the Director of the Educational Technology Center at Metropolitan State University of Denver. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver. Michael teaches location analytics, web development, and IT project management. His research interests include effective IT project governance, the influence of emerging technology on society, IT workforce trends, and decision-making using geospatial data. Michael’s research has been presented at numerous international, national, and regional conferences. His work has also been published in leading academic journals, including Communications of the AIS, The DATABASE for Advances in Information Systems, Information Systems Frontiers, International Journal of Human-Computer Interaction, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Consumer Marketing, and Journal of Computer Information Systems. Michael is an active member of the Association for Information Systems, the Association for Computing Machinery, the Decision Sciences Institute, and the Project Management Institute.
