This synergistic style works every time.Along the way I’ve been privileged to groom very talented technology professionals. The secret to my success (beyond my broad, functional IT experience) is my passion for mentoring and developing IT leaders and creating highly functional organizations. I’m both a business & technology strategist and a motivator of people, always looking for the win-win to get constituents from all disciplines excited and on board with new solutions. At CSAA Insurance Group, I lead a complete business systems transformation replacing 30-year-old legacy applications (and infrastructure), leading a team of 250 employees and 600 contractors. This transformational effort introduced new technology (both cloud & on-prem solutions) into every facet of their insurance business. Under my leadership as CTO, we developed a new low-cost, discounted insurance product pulling together 11 application systems into a single customer-facing, digital, self-service experience that was deployed in 15 months. Consistently received some of the highest employee engagement scores in the company annually.While at 9th Gear Technologies, we created a platform for the Foreign Currency market to execute same-day funding & trading between large financial institutions. This is a game changer in this industry allowing for faster settlements, lower costs, greater privacy & security.
