Partner closely with the Executive Director to ensure that ABHMS fulfills its mission, reflects its values, and maintains its strategic direction in response to an ever-changing environment• Ensure smooth operations and effective administrative infrastructure in areas of finance, information technology, and organization-wide planning and learning• Staff the work of the Finance and Audit Committees and provide financial analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the committee, board, management and CEO in performing their responsibilities• Provide oversight in the implementation of investment policies and guidelines for the Common Investment Fund ($200M under management) and the execution of Socially Responsible Investing Guidelines• Provide managerial leadership to the finance department, including the business manager functions of the publishing ministry• Represent ABHMS in several key denominational arenas including service as an Associate National Secretary for American Baptist Churches USA; member of the National Leadership Council which serves as staff council for the denomination; Treasurer for the American Baptist Foundation; and President for the American Baptist Computer Center
