I lead development programs in a cross-functional, matrixed environment, from concept phase through to commercial launch. I served as the reagent lead for the MiSeq i100 platform during its concept phase, making technology down selections which included microsphere dry reagents, novel FFN dye, index first and on-board denature and dilute. I also have served as the technical lead for the development of Illumina Protein Prep, overseeing all aspects of development through commercial launch. Functionally, I lead two teams within the Reagent Sciences and Protein Engineering departments comprising ~50 R&D scientists.
