Gartner Research Board is exclusive to executive leaders in the world’s largest, most complex organizations. As Program Director, I equip, challenge, coach and partner with CIOs and senior technology executives of the Fortune 500 companies. Depending on the customer’s needs, context and tenure I fulfill four roles: challenger (they rarely get push-back); thought-partner (brainstorm and discuss approaches); supporter (providing resources pertinent to the initiatives); coach (provide structure and clarity). Those 4 roles are the essence of a relationship based on trust and authenticity. What makes me tick is the appreciation and gratitude I receive from customers for the value I bring with a no-nonsense temperament. And I am extremely proud I have continued to be successful in this role after I moved abroad overcoming the nuances of cultural and linguistic differences in working with North and South American customers. • Develop a trusted relationship and deliver value to Global CIOs and senior business executives. • Chaired the first virtual version of Research Board @ Gartner Symposium with top evaluation scores. • Initiated, developed and evolved a unique series of virtual meetings recurring every other week attracting Global CIOs from all parts of the world and hosted Gartner Distinguished analysts, Tech CEOs and managing partners of VC firms to set up a conversation for the Global CIO members.
