ABOUT MICHAEL CECI

I am a public policy, management, and regulatory affairs professional who provides global affairs, international trade, and government relations expertise to various public and private corporations. I have established myself as a trusted advisor and aide to politicians and business executives with my general management, corporate finance, and media relations expertise. I previously served as an Advisor to the Minister at Canada’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (now Global Affairs Canada). I have also worked in various production and general management roles in the Canadian and US media industry, co-founding a company and producing a wide array of narrative, musical, and corporate films and videos. I started my career and held various corporate roles at TELUS, a Canadian national telecommunications company. Outside of work, I volunteer my time as the Board Chair of The Participation House Project: Durham Region, a developmental services agency, and am a Director at Ontario Creates, a government agency whose mandate is to be a catalyst for economic development, investment and collaboration in Ontario\'s creative industries.
