   Lead a team of Scrum Masters, Architects, Front-end and Back-end Engineers, SQL Developers/DBAs as well as EDI Architects and Developers to produce an Electronic Health Record (EHR)/Electronic Medical Record (EMR)/Medical Management Platform (MMP) for Case Management and Utilization Management staff. • Technologies: ASP.NET (4.7+), ASP.NET Core, JavaScript (Angular, KnockoutJS, ReactJS, vanilla), TSQL, Swift (IOS App), Java (Android App), Microsoft Azure, AppInsights, Microservices, Dapper, LINQ, Kubernetes, NextGen Mirth Connect, PowerApps and SSIS to produce a product line of 5 applications. • Implemented Whitebox Security Scanning/Static Application Security Testing (SAST) into CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps) using SonarQube and Blackbox Security Scanning/Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) using BurpSuite. • Responsible for talent acquisition, performance appraisals, career-pathing and employee retention in a competitive market. • Served as representative from the Software Engineering Team for HITRUST bi-annual recertification including authoring policies and procedures and providing supporting evidence for controls. • Responsible for a Microsoft Azure Cloud-based infrastructure of dozens of virtual machines, a Web Application Firewall (WAF), as well as a Managed-Instance SQL Server feeding security alerts into a SIEM. • Coordinated with external entities to send/receive EDI transactions such as Authorization and Determination (278 files), Enrollment (834 files), Eligibility (270/271 files), Provider Extract and Patient Notifications with a documented process and file mappings in companion guides. • Managed an application which used Machine Learning (ML)/Artificial Intelligence (AI), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to take patient data sent by way of secure fax (Sfax) to convert clinical document contents from an image into text which could be put into our database as discrete data with logical groupings.
