Drive profitable sales for the store/company by making sure that merchandise relevant for the community and seasonally correct is well-stocked and merchandise.* Control expenses thru proper managing the wage budget.* Assessing store productivity thru the use of different report : P&L, sales and activity report per department, shrink report, and expense report.* Respond to market changes with the use of financial data, economic data, community needs and most importantly customer feedback.* Develop, implement and correct any deficiencies in the store financial performance.* Ensure optimal store conditions - seasonal execution, merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, and store standard guidelines.* Implement new store programs according to Company direction and evaluate effectiveness and giving feedback to the Store Support Centre and District Manager.* Serve Customer and the community by raising money and kinds for different organizations.* Act as a Champion of Change in the store.* Act as an ambassador of the store by greeting customers, seeking feedback and creating a positive and happy shopping experience.* Model, enforce and provide directions to the assistant managers and associates on friendly and helpful customer service approaches and techniques.* Ensure Customer needs, complaints and issues are successfully resolved within company guideline - “Sundown Rule” * Drive associate engagement by valuing associates, listening and responding to their concerns, recognizing and rewarding accomplishment and providing opportunities for growth and development.* Provide and/or support training to develop manager and associate capability.* Attract, retain and motivate Assistant Manager and associate.* Be a visible leader in the store, demonstrating RESPECT and INTEGRITY
