As a tax compliance professional, I specialize in the taxation of investment management partnerships. I typically service private equity clients that have AUM up to $1 billion. I manage teams in the US and India to complete the tax compliance of federal, state, and international filings I possess a strong understanding of tax allocations related to waterfall calculations, targeted distribution models, carried interest, hurdle rates, and management fee waivers. Additionally, I have experience with blocker corporations, fund of funds, UBTI/ECI calculations, foreign withholding requirements, and state non-resident withholding payments. I obtained a Bachelors in Accounting & Finance at Towson University and received my Masters in Taxation at Fordham University. I began my career working at RSM for 4 years in both New York and Boston. I continued my career at Deloitte for 6 years in Boston and I am currently working at CohnReznick as a Senior Manager serving primarily private equity clients in New York City. I am a member of the AICPA and am a licensed CPA in CO.
