Michael Cade is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience helping organizations understand their data, secure it, and make it resilient at scale. He currently serves as Global Field CTO at Veeam Software, a leader in data protection and cyber resilience, enabling customers to ensure data is secure, recoverable, and available across hybrid, multi-cloud, and cloud-native environments.With a focus on data across physical, virtual, cloud, and cloud-native platforms—including Kubernetes—Michael works with customers to move beyond traditional backup, helping them build confidence in their data as a trusted foundation for resilience, business continuity, and AI-driven innovation.Prior to this role, Michael held various technical roles within Veeam joining in 2015 as a Systems Engineer and then moving to the product strategy team to focus on the wider Veeam strategy of creating content and sharing within the community.
