ABOUT MICHAEL BROOKBANKS

Mike has 26 years’ experience as a trusted advisor at the CIO/CXO and board level, bridging between business challenges and technology, to lead and deliver complex digital transformations. He has recently advised central banks and financial organisations on the impacts of digital technology. Working on the transformation of business, the technology governance responsibilities and the operational risk implications of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology, with UK Academia, the central banks, regulators and a number of financial services companies.Mike is currently managing a programme to implement a DLT/Blockchain platform with the goal to Reduce Friction in International Trade - with a team from HMRC, FSA, Wine Industry and Chainvine as a technology provider. The team have developed a working proof of value, and I am leading the research - currently investigating how trust and value changes with the implementation across a Wine Supply Chain between Australia and UK.Mike\'s experience is predominately within financial services where he has led and delivered multiple digital transformational engagements, creating innovative approaches to the optimisation and transformation of Business Operations and IT.
