About Michael Brian Conner

I was responsible for the marketing and outreach efforts for South Carolina’s immunization division with the state health department. I was also responsible for the development, maintenance, and steering of the state immunization coalition and adolescent immunization task force which includes over 150 partners from various community organizations, NGOs, educational entities, pharmaceutical partners, and healthcare providers. Before my time with the South Carolina state health department, I worked for a start-up health plan provider that grew to members in less than three years. During this time, I created the annual marketing strategy with forecasted budget, hired/managed seven community relations representatives, and maximized marketing impact through the efficient use of limited resources. My success has been based on strengths including public relations, marketing strategy development, event planning, advertising & social media campaigns, brand/image development, marketing material development, demographic research, public speaking, grassroots marketing, community relations, and channel marketing. Evidence of these strengths can be demonstrated by:• Development of the SC Adolescent Immunization Task Force and state Immunization Coalition• Assisting Consumers’ Choice Health Plan in securing 66% of the Marketplace business in their first year• Achieving results through resourceful use and administration marketing budget for South Carolina• Drafting Consumers’ Choice Health Plan’s marketing strategy for 2014, 2015 & 2016 I am also passionate about health and wellness which is demonstrated by my experience managing a wellness consulting company providing coaching, training, and developmental program design to individual clients and businesses. I have been successful in translating strategy into results and I\'m confident in my ability to make a substantial impact on the performance, profitability, revenue growth, and efficiency within any organization.
