About Michael Boling
To whom it may concern: This letter is intended to highlight the qualities and characteristics of Michael Boling. I first met Mike when I took a job with Carbon, inc. Being new to the industry, and company, Mike was quick to take me under his wing and provided invaluable coaching and mentoring, ultimately expediting my on-boarding. On multiple occasions he would expose me to important project he was working on by showing me the requirements, outlining his actionable steps, then challenging me with attempting the workflow in tandem. For this I am forever grateful as it allowed me to quickly learn a new industry, different software platforms, and has helped me excel in my career. In addition to being a great coach and mentor, he was also the person in the office who would get stuff done. If our CEO or VP had important prospects in, Mike would be the unanimous choice to help with the Sales pitch by hosting a live demo and being the subject matter expert. He has a unique ability to break down social barriers in conversation with just about anyone and quickly makes those involved feel comfortable and respected, regardless of status or professional class. Not only can he speak about complex technical products to a wide range of audiences, he is truly a master of the technologies/tools he uses. For complex projects with tight deadlines Mike would often be called upon to get it done, having the reputation to get it done well and on the first try. While I was working on the Support team, my team and I would regularly escalate to Mike specifically when the ask was of high importance and visibility, and he always rose to the challenge. Mike has always been extremely helpful and never someone to turn down assisting those in need. His work ethic is second to none.
