Michael is a seasoned Human Resources Leader and Consultant, with experience across Canada and the United States. His corporate HR career has spanned a variety of sectors, including private equity, construction, software/technology, financial services/securities, industrial and commercial product sales and supply chain, automotive manufacturing, education and executive search. He has built HR structures from blank sheets into impactful strategic partners. While excelling as a strategic and analytical thinker, he maintains the ability to be a tactical hands-on contributor across the full spectrum of human resources.Michael’s consulting and outsourcing experience has included full outsourcing of strategic and day-to-day HR as well as projects in organizational assessment and design, culture transition, employee relations, compensation plan design, employee feedback/surveys, policy development, recruitment (including RPO), training delivery and workplace investigations across a wide variety of sectors, as well as the development of a specialized motorsports practice.He is a graduate of Sheridan College\'s Human Resources Management Program and has completed a Master Certificate in Human Resources from Villanova University, as well as a Certificate in Non-Profit Governance from the DeGroote School of Business (in partnership with the United Way).Michael is a very active volunteer in the communities where he lives including being the current President of the Yukon Wildlife Preserve Operating Society and a former Vice-Chair of the Yukon Employment Standards Board.
