Designed, built, and applied novel molecular approaches for on-target restoration of stathmin-2 in TDP-43 proteinopathies, leading to the identification and in vivo validation of clinically relevant antisense oligonucleotides for human therapy.• Designed, built, and tested CNS-penetrant gene therapy vectors for retro-orbital peripheral administration to model disease relevant stathmin-2 suppression throughout the aged mouse central nervous system.• Designed and executed key experiments in collaboration with other lab members which have resulted in multiple publications in high-impact journals (Science, Nature Neuroscience, PNAS, etc)
