WORK HISTORY
Petroleum Engineer @bp
Aberdeen, GB
ETAP - Petroleum Engineer Ownership of Mungo/Monan field; supporting a 4 well infill campaign, well work from initiative to execution, and daily performance management/ optimisation.Deepwater - Petroleum EngineerTemporary Snr PE, supporting the squad lead in delivery of production and management of vulnerabilities as well as seeking production improvement ideas with a team of 3 PEs. Responsible for medium to long term initiatives including wellwork, new well delivery and forecasting whilst providing coaching for junior team members. Some key highlights include, generating over $8M in optimisation by finding a novel method for subsea routing, reducing sand deferrals by 10% YoY by developing a sand management tool as well as decreasing time spent on well optimisation by 60%. Lead PE for new well start ups and Regional tag for sand management. Deepwater -(ACE) Production Engineer Managed production on BPs largest FPSO (74 wells); allocations, deferrals, excursions, forecasting, surveillance, production optimisation, sand and waterflood management. Created an enhanced well dashboard in Palantir which enabled instant optimisation and much improved surveillance, saving ~1hr a day. System Modelling & Optimisation PEPart of a global central team providing monitoring and surveillance as well as system optimisation opportunities for North Sea assets. Led a project to investigate flowline slugging from concept to trial phase. The initial results suggest a sustained extra 1mboed production. Fluent in the use of Palantir.(Iraq) Base Management PEWorked on Rumaila, one of largest oil fields in the world for both clastic and carbonate rock. Managed production and injection for ~80 wells/ 100mbd, designing jobs (SORs) for rig and rigless scopes. Developed a data analytic tool which can help predict new well rates based on offset well data allowing senior engineers to quickly QA/QC calculations.
