About Michael Arling

Mike\'s experience has been gained through working in the field of construction and engineering for the aviation, transit, transportation, and buildings sectors. He has a degree in architectural engineering with an emphasis in construction management, and has served as a program manager, project manager, construction manager, and as a systems integrator on large publicly-funded capital improvement projects. He has gained experience from projects in procurement, design, and through construction completion. Mike has worked with clients to tailor project delivery methods to best meet their program schedules and funding commitments. These implementation methods have included traditional design-bid-build, design-build, and hybrids of methods such as public private partnerships that combined various elements of these approaches. His contract management experience includes: the management of engineering and field staff, design reviews, submittal reviews, RFI determination, construction inspections, schedule reviews, change management, pay application approval using quantities or earned value determination, client updates and reporting. Mike’s systems integration experience includes: communications, tunnel ventilation, power substations, building management, and train control.
